Job Summary:

ACACIA Commercial Services has an immediate need for a Sales Development Representative to join our inside sales team. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking on the phone to a specified list of company prospects. We’re looking for an upbeat, motivated professional who gets inspired by the idea of commission checks. This is an entry-level role, perfect for a new grad or a salesperson with 1-2 years of experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, to persuade potential customers to utilize Acacia’s services
  • Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements
  • Maintain records of customer accounts in company’s CRM database
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

 Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel and Office
  • Superior Customer Service skills to ensure client and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Cold calling and prospecting experience with a short (1-3 calls) sales cycle
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM is preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics along with track record of achieving sales quotas
